Alveringem & surroundings

Alveringem is a beautiful village in the middle of the Westhoek, where you can still enjoy the peace and nature. The countryside around Alveringem is a paradise for cyclists and hikers.

We are surrounded by beautiful cities like Veurne, Lo, Ypres and Poperinge. The seaside with the beaches of De Panne, Koksijde, Oostduinkerke or Nieuwpoort are also at a stone's throw.

A excursion to French-Flanders with cities such as Bergues, Hondschoote, Dunkerque, and Cassel are definitely worth the effort. There are plenty of nice restaurants, inns and cafés in the neighborhood to enjoy a nice regional beer or a strong picon.

GOLF TER HILLE KOKSIJDE

Voor de sportievelingen onder ons is er Koksijde Golf ter Hille. One of the most beautiful and latest golf projects in Flanders. Up to 84 ha, Hazebeekcourse (9 holes) and Langeleedcourse (18 holes) offer the ultimate golfing challenge to conquer an inland lane. Due to the lack of trees and a seaside location, the never-ending wind is an important factor. Compared to the many parks you can find in Flanders, Koksijde offers a totally different golf experience: a job that is "lean and mean". A true challenge, drawn by the renowned British architect Jeremy Pern. In the clubhouse, a beautifully renovated old farmhouse, you will find both a contemporary brasserie and a fine-dining restaurant. In addition to the golf club there is also a sports center and a gym. Soon you'll also be able to access a number spots for sport fishing.
